HP%, C.RATE, C.DMG, SPD, FOCUS Not much is known of Pluto’s background, implicit leader of the Sharkhunter Fleet and its eternal Admiral, except that his past involved at one point a long and distinguished out-of-service with the
Imperial Navy. Exactly what prompted Pluto to seek out the company of rogues, and to engage with the shadier side of humanity on Pirate Island, are questions mostly left unanswered. One of the sitting members of Pirate Island’s all-important “Council of Four”, the business-minded Pluto has also made a name for himself as the founder of the Island’s most famous watering hole – the Red Ruby – as much for his bloodthirsty actions at sea that have helped to transform the Sharkhunters and Evera’s Black Rose Fleet into the terror of the seas it presently is. All of which has naturally served to greatly shore up Pluto’s own nearly unrivaled status and position on the Island.
The strange, sharp-looking fishbone over Pluto’s shoulder serves as a constant memento of his long campaign against the vicious shark that slew many of his former crewmembers. Pluto spent years hunting the beast which famously possessed magical or semi-supernatural powers. Success certainly helped cement Pluto’s reputation among the crew – and his ability to use cunning traps when it suited.
Pluto’s good looks, melodious voice, and flirtatious manner easily lend themselves to the scandal in the small Island society. Although Pluto maintains the illusion of other dalliances, in truth he has eyes only for one – the elite dancer of his Red Ruby, Flarence. And it is the supposed drama between the two that tends to generate the most salacious pirate gossip. Reality is stranger still. So complex are the Island’s affairs, and so accessible is information on the high seas, the Pirate’s Council has added a secret fifth member to the Council to manage the lucrative business of intelligence-gathering for the fleets. The manager? None other than Flarence, the deceptively alluring dancer who commands the eyes and ears of every patron in the tavern. The manager of said establishment, Admiral Pluto, is naturally keen to make use of such a perfect business opportunity.
