HP%, C.RATE, C.DMG, SPD, FOCUS Myla was born to the Snow Savages, a nomadic tribe of freefolk found in the northern tundras and icy forests bordering the northern Mountain Kingdom, a fiercely martial, independent and battle-hardened people, closely allied with their dwarven neighbors, particularly the Stonefist Clan who dwell in close physical proximity to Myla’s tribe and who are frequent partners in hunting, games, and trade.
It is on account of this alliance with the dwarves that Myla was sent by her parents at a young age to train in the art of runeworking and glyphmaking under Master Hakrin, who for his part, has declared Myla the most gifted student he has taught in over a century. Myla has worked hard for Hakrin in exchange for this elite knowledge which she eventually plans to bring back to her people, laboring for long hours to learn art of rune-making and, during Hakrin’s casual absences, leading expeditions to locate special stones, other materials, or to generally keep yetis and other threats clear of Stonefist Village and its various reservoirs of ores and precious minerals (most of whom will generally flee at the sight of Myla’s intimidating figure).
Myla is no stranger to the use of the bow and arrow, axe, or sword as a member of the Snow Savages, experienced not only in the regular hunts inevitably preceding large village banquets, in which the hunting of fierce animals is highly prized, but also in conflicts with imperial marauders and scavengers after ever greater quantities of resources with which to auction to the Imperial Armories.
Myla is a gifted fighter. Enemies that underestimate her on account of her gender will be quickly disabused of their notions asshe either nimbly relieves said enemies of their limbs with an axe or leaves some scarred for life. One of my Myla’s most courageous incidents was her single-handed destruction of a group of wild ice beasts that invaded her village under cover of night, and which she handily defeated with no injuries except lifelong scars on her cheeks and legs which, at the shaman’s suggestion, she has since covered up with an exotic blue dye that in many ways works to her advantage against less timorous opponents.
